Florida State Representative Angie Nixon, a member of the anti-Israel Democratic Socialists of America, wins the Democratic nomination for US Senate, defeating Alex Vindman.

She will face Senator Ashley Moody, who won the Republican nomination. They are competing in a special election to finish the final two years of Marco Rubio’s term, who became secretary of state.

Nixon was endorsed by Ms. Rachel, the anti-Israel YouTube content creator who makes toddler-oriented videos.

“Angie and I both see how hard it is for families to afford high quality childcare. It’s not ok!” wrote Ms. Rachel, before adding: “Our tax dollars should not be spent on the genocide in Gaza.”
